We love the Irish A long, long time ago in a Borough far, far away, there was a woman who loved dorks. She would spend her days navigating the shoals of New York City Planning, wondering whether Art was sending subtle signals, and trying to decide which arugula vendor would earn her business that evening. And Larry Mullen. What were the chances that the founder, drummer and hunkiest member of U2 would be stopping by her pad for a quick chat and, perhaps, jam session this evening?

At that same time, stuffed in his interior office and listening to the 974th repetition of "Where the Streets Have No Name" there was a pasty-legged dork who desperately needed a woman. Still basking in the glory of the 1986 Mets, 1988 Irish and 1991 Giants, he typed away feverishly hoping that *somewhere* someone would appreciate his elegant re-use of the discounting logic in the order entry program. His prospects were dim.

But then Gramboni gave John a call and got him involved with Troop 635. And in 635 there was Joe Cogley. And Joe Cogley was related to Tom Cogley. And Tom Cogley played football with Joey Thieret, who just *happened* to be the nephew of She Who Is Fair, Temperate, and Fit. And so with a little prodding, a little scheming and a lot of love, Kelleroo, mother of Joey and sister of Katherine, embarked on her finest bit of matchmaking yet.

She loves the Sox

This web page is set up so that people can find information about the wedding, the people who are in it, the beautiful area that we live in and to keep up Man of Sonnick's dork cred so that the Fair and Lovely Katherine will remain enamoured enough with him between now and September 1st that she doesn't decide to just bag the whole thing and sell her wedding dress as cleaning rags on Craig's List.

U2 rocks

This marriage is fully endorsed by U2--the best rock band of all time.
Or they would if we asked them about it.
We're sure of it.

"I've had a lot of unrequited love in my day..." "*I* didn't know that. But I could have guessed it..."
